TIF2023
ABOUT
"TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL (TIF)" is the world's largest idol festival, held in Odaiba.

The year 2010 was known as the "Idol Sengoku Jidai" due to the huge resurgence of idols.
In the same year, TOKYO IDOL FESTIVAL began in Shinagawa, Tokyo, as Japan’s first ever large-scale idol music festival.
The venue was moved to Odaiba in the second year. In 2019, when the Japanese era changed from Heisei to Reiwa, the festival received about 90,000 visitors, following the booming idol scene.

In 2020, it was held virtually for the first time.
In 2021, the real and virtual hybrid festival was held, with some stages accepting audience.
Last year, for the first time in three years, the festival could welcome audience in the entire venue.

And this year, for the first time in four years, loud cheers and jumps from the audience are allowed again.
TIF will continue to push forward with the unchanging goal to enliven and expand the idol scene while proactively attempting new things

Greetings from the producer

Thanks to the support of the idols, idol fans, and all persons involved, we are able to organize TIF again this year.
Words cannot express my gratitude.

This year, summer entertainment such as traditional festivals, summer music festivals, and fireworks displays are finally coming back.
The idol scene must not be left behind.

This year TIF's theme is "KAIHO (Open) and KAIHO (Liberate)"

Visitors will be able to enjoy both the openness (KAIHO) of the spacious outdoor stages in the middle of summer, as well as the sense of liberation (KAIHO) that comes with the freedom to get excited with idols after being released from COVID restrictions.
Details will be disclosed from now on, please look forward to them.

We have received a message from NERU NAGAHAMA, TIF2023 chairperson, before the festival opening.
We have also announced the first batch of participating idols.
I am looking forward to TIF2023 while imagining idol fans cheering their favorite idols after four years.

I wonder how this summer will turn out for the idols?
Let’s make TIF2023 an unforgettable event!
We will be waiting for you in Odaiba!
